The competition, designed to encourage law students to write scholarly papers on current topics of interest relevant to health law, received numerous entries from student scholars across the nation.

On Wednesday, Feb. 17, Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of State Tom Malinowski presented American University Washington College of Law with a certificate of appreciation “for supporting international efforts to promote the Rule of Law and Legal Education through the contribution of more than 2,500 legal textbooks to Law Students and Legal Professionals in Uzbekistan.”

On May 17, the American University Washington College of Law held its annual spring commencement ceremony. This year, 466 students graduated with a Juris Doctor (JD), 145 with a Master of Laws (LL.M.), and six with a Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD).
