Conference Examines Changing Business Landscape in Wake of Financial Crisis

Event will feature keynote from Michael Silva, chief of staff of Federal Reserve Bank of New York

WASHINGTON, DC, March 11, 2010 – American University Washington College of Law will host a conference titled “The Changing Business Landscape” on Monday, March 15. 

Since the collapse of the financial markets amidst the sub-prime mortgage crisis, the business landscape has dramatically changed. Some changes, such as the tightening of the credit market, may be temporary while others could be more damaging and long lasting.

This symposium will focus on the changing business landscape and its effect upon intellectual property rights, international trade, private equity investment, and white collar crime.  The event includes an opening keynote address from Michael Silva, chief of staff of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
