Equal Justice Foundation Hosts 24th Annual Auction Night to Benefit Public Interest

On March 23, the Equal Justice Foundation (EJF) hosted its 24th annual auction night to help raise funds in support of students pursuing unpaid internships in the public interest sector. These scholarships enable AUWCL's students to gain valuable experience in public interest while serving underrepresented members of the community.

The majority of EJF's outside funding is raised at the annual auction, where goods and services donated by AUWCL students, faculty, and staff, as well as local businesses, help generate the funds to provide opportunities to further students’ legal studies.

This year's auction featured a Gatsby theme with students and professors dressing the part. More than 90 auction items were sold that included dinner with professors, sports tickets, a trip to a Caribbean beach, and more!

Thanks to Professor Angela Davis for the photos.
