AUWCL Student Honored by American Bankruptcy Institute
Third-year student Bradley Jensen received the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence for his outstanding performance in Professor Walter Effross’ Corporate Bankruptcy Course this spring. Professor Effross and Dean Camille Nelson presented him with the award this week.
“This is a well-deserved recognition of Mr. Jensen’s engagement with the clarity and the ambiguities of the Bankruptcy Code,” said Professor Effross. “The Corporate Bankruptcy course examines not only the practical details of representing different parties in the reorganization process, but also the ongoing policy battles over Chapter 11’s philosophy, fairness, efficiency, effectiveness, and evolution.”
