Each year, American University Washington College of Law, the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights, and the RFK Center for Human Rights organize a week-long training on the Inter-American and Universal systems of human rights for government officials working in human rights.

The group started the training on July 17 at the law school with a lecture by Dean Claudio Grossman and the Director of the AUWCL's Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian LawProfessor Macarena Saez

The group will be at the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights for the reminder of the week to meet with commissioners and the commission’s attorneys.
