Alumni Update: Kaine Hampton ’15, Entertainment Lawyer for Viacom
Kaine Hampton '15 is Counsel for Viacom, which includes popular brands such as MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, Spike, and LOGO, in New York, NY. He secures rights, conducts risk analyses, and navigates legal issues presented by unscripted television productions and large scale live music events like MTV's Video Music Awards.
We asked Kaine what advice he would give to WCL’s 2017 graduates. “Be sure to stay in contact with your professors,” he said. “The strength of the WCL community is predicated on the phenomenal faculty and their willingness to assist you while in school and as an alum.”
“I thoroughly enjoyed my time as BLSA President and associate managing editor of the Business Law Review,” Kaine continued. “Serving in those positions provided me with a great amount of leadership skills that are useful in my current role.”

Julia Torres ILSP ’11 is in the middle of a project many people only dream of doing. Currently in Chile, Julia is spending a year traveling from Mexico to Argentina.
