American University has regional alumni chapters across the country. These organized groups help build AU's presence nationally and provide opportunities for alumni to connect.
Our alumni chapters host a variety of programs that range from networking events to service projects, engaging alumni, families, and friends of the university near and far in the life of the university.

Welcome to the Neighborhood events offer graduates and alumni moving to a new region an opportunity to connect with fellow Eagles by region and affinity. Alumni learn about the Alumni Association, available alumni benefits and resources, plus hear from alumni about navigating their new city, finding career and volunteer opportunities, and so much more!
Eagles in Action
Eagles in Action: A Coordinated Day of Community Service to strengthen the bond between fellow Eagles and the university. The purpose of this program is to connect the AU community through service, foster the desire to lead for the greater good in their community, and build AU’s presence within the communities it serves.
